Very pleased how nice everyone has been.

I was very hesitant about coming here and staying. I was met by the Concierge and Director of Admissions, both who were very nice and pleasant. They both took care of my concerns and worry. Going up to unit 3 everyone has been very pleasant to talk to and deal with.

My uncle was sent directly from the hospital. We were very apprehensive at first. Let me tell you the experience is definitely one that will not be forgotten. We were made to feel so comfortable and secure by the wonderful staff right from the beginning. This was all we could have asked for plus more.

Amazing Experience! From the moment I met reception to signing out I met happy residents as well as staff. Residents were laughing and visibly enjoying themselves with floor staff. Being in the health care private field it was very encouraging to see that kind care being carried out in a large facility.

Great atmosphere. They offer innovative programs and cutting edge hospitality that is unparalleled. This is not my Dads first experience but its the first time that he is happy and we aren't worried!

I recently had the honor of sending my mother to this wonderful Nursing Home. The caretakers there are all so warm and caring. They have state of art equipment and the activities are fabulous. The food while institutional is definitely better than the previous place that mom was at. The rehab department - I have no words, they were amazing! had mom walking in 5 days. I fully recommend.

My Grandfather was there for rehab. He loved it. The food was amazing as well. They got a new cook and he is fabulous. Gourmet 5 star meals. Staff were fabulous as well. Highly recommend!

My Uncle came in for Rehabilitation after a Knee replacement. We had many choices but after meeting with the hospital representative from Barnwell we chose them. We are so glad we did. The staff are caring and extremely helpful. We had some questions and the administrator himself came to answer them. The nurses are all friendly and very knowledgeable. My uncle loves his therapists. The food is wholesome and good. A Dietitian even prepared custom meals for his particular diet. Thank you!

We vacation on Lake George every summer. My dad fell and required rehab for 3 weeks. We are upstate through August, we decided to stay in the area. Barnwell has been very accommodating. They offered us transportation from Lake George to visit Dad. We are not happy he is in a nursing home, but Barnwell is making it easy for us.

Our experience has been brief but wonderful. My father was greeted at the door by the concierge and nursing supervisor. The admitting process was very easy. Lora was patient and answered my 1 million questions. I have visited my father and each time she is in activities and he loves it. Thank you

I was sent there for Rehab August of last year. When I had my hip replacement I was certainty going back! I came back in March of this year and I was elated. The place was clearly cleaned up. Rehab was as great as before and the food was even better! Administration was great and even concierge was amazing. They even gave me a personal iPad. Highly recommended!

Our Mom has been in your facility for over three months and my family wants to express our thanks and gratitude for all your caring staff who daily attends to her needs. she has been on the third, and sixth floors and was treated with dignity and love on each floor. We want to particularly highlight the nurses and aides whom works on those floors. We observed their commitment and calm, but thorough approach. Once again, thanks to you and your staff for a wonderful job.

My mom is currently there receiving rehab everything about this experience has been 100% positive. The staff cares for each like they are the own family. The residents that have been there a long time look out for each other and have helped my mom regain and get better. I highly recommend and have peace of mind of the quality of care she is still receiving. A staff member Emily even FaceTimed me this morning so my mom could see us during this virus epidemic. Thank you all for your amazing dedication!

Thanks to Bridget and team I can visit with my aunt twice a week it is amazing I love seeing her smile. I can't say enough about all the work that Bridget and her team have done. Keep up the great work.

2020 turned into being a year no one will ever forget. Many of us lost family members, jobs, homes and with no choice but accept a new way of living everyday. The last 6 months of not being able to have lunch/dinner with my mother has been extremely difficult to understand and cope with. Bridget and her staff of Janet, Zach and Austin have turned this grim and bleak situation into a comforting one. The ability to video chat with my mother 3x a week has been a blessing. The window visits with the assistance of Zach & Janet has really given my mother her sparkle back. The compassion, patients and understanding of these individuals needs to be recognized. They have gone above and beyond their duty to provide a comforting environment for the residents and their families. The staff members of 1st floor also endured the daunting tasks during the crisis and should be recognized as well. More work needs to continue but Bridget and her staff have really helped a lot of families and residents during this difficult time.

Our Mom Shirley Hammond is a Resident here. We have been very satisfied with her care. The fact that she is happy makes us happy. We especially have joyed the virtual calls. They have given our Dad something to look forward. Seeing her on these call gives dad and us the opportunity to see she’s taken care of and well. They are also still doing things they enjoy. Games, music etc. The staff have been wonderful in this other wise difficult times. I want to say a special thank you to Bridget and Zack for all they do.

In times like these it’s always wonderful to see that positivity is still blessing The Grand!
