THE SARATOGIAN SENIOR OLYMPICS PICKUP

The daylong event saw more than 60 seniors from New York state nursing facilities operated by The Grand Healthcare System in Queens, Pawling, Poughkeepsie, Guilderland, Chittenango, Utica and Rome take part in basketball, table bowling, horseshoes, Frisbee, cornhole, golf putting and other sports and activities. Following the day’s competition, a medal ceremony was held, with trophies were awarded to the winner of each event, as well as the overall winner.
