THE GRAND HELPS POUGHKEEPSIE SPREAD HOLIDAY CHEER

The Grand Rehabilitation, and the Poughkeepsie Fire and Police Departments wanted to make sure everyone had a Merry Christmas.

The groups teamed up last weekend to distribute food and gifts to families in need throughout the city.

The Grand at River Valley served as a drop-off site with many items donated by visitors and family members of residents at the facility. Additionally, staff purchased more than $400 worth of toys from Mart to add to the boxes.

Volunteers also delivered flowers and turkeys provided by participating local businesses.
