My sister is in the Grand at Pawling for physical rehabilitation due to hip surgery. Since COVID-19 has restricted safe visits for both my sister and my family, Facetime has been our only lifeline. It is a blessing for both patient and family. The Recreation/Activities Department, especially Christina, is diligent, caring, and accommodating. At times, this is the only way I can see, talk and comfort my sister. This service is a breath of fresh air anytime, but particularly during this pandemic. Thank you Recreation/Activities Department for connecting us with our loved ones, until we can hug again, this is the next best thing.

My father came here for 3 months after being in the ICU for three weeks. Every facility in the area declined my father due to his weight. This place took him with open arms and started to rehab him immediately. I work in the health care field and work in a nursing facility myself and know what goes on behind the scenes. This place has phenomenal wound care my father developed a stage 4 ulcer from Vassar hospital and the grand was able to heal it. I'm so thankful for this place getting my father to walk again and being independent. Yes they are short staffed at times but what healthcare facility isn't. There is a national shortage for nurses and aides. The rehab department are phenomenal as well. My father and I are very thankful for this place and will refer anyone to The Grand at Pawling.

I am a frequent visitor i have no problems or complaints I enjoy staying at The Grand, the staff is always helpful and polite, everybody at The Grand is terrific. It is always nice coming back again!!!!

The Grand is a beautiful facility with kind and compassionate employees. I would highly recommend this facility. The Administrator goes above and beyond to make sure everyone’s stay is wonderful.

My Mother has been here for almost 2 years and absolutely loves the place. When we visit her the staff of nurses on her floor are always sensitive and helpful! The security here is top notch as well.

What makes a rehab center stand out from all the rest? My name is Edward, and I was a resident at this rehab facility. I have come here three times. I have previously been to several other rehab facilities. What makes The Grand stand out from all the rest is the dedication given by the nurses and all the staff. During my time spent at The Grand, I have gotten to know the staff and consider them friends as well as family. There have been many times that I have been depressed and homesick, and I always had a staff member come to my room and talk to me until I felt better. The quality of care is nothing but exceptional, and they always gave their best effort to keep me comfortable. II want to thank the staff at The Grand at Pawling for making my stay there comfortable and enjoyable. They were always considerate and friendly toward all the residents. The staff was dedicated to my well-being on a daily basis. The fun activities they provided kept me involved while receiving excellent health care.
