ROME — Colonial Park Rehabilitation & Nursing, 950 Floyd Ave., invites youngsters and their families to a free community Easter Egg Hunt from noon to 2 p.m. Friday, April 7.
The event is open to the public and they will have Easter egg collection bags available for the children to use for the hunt, said Erika Glasso, marketing and hospital liaison for Colonial Park, part of The Grand Healthcare System.
“We are excited to also have photos with the Easter Bunny, a raffle and prizes,” Glasso said. “Oldies & Goodies food truck will be here for customer purchases.”
The hunt is open for children up to 12 years old. Glasso said there will be 3,000 eggs, four Easter baskets for prizes, 80 Easter-themed stuffed animals for mini prizes plus a bike that will be raffled off.
“This is our first year doing it, so we are hoping for a great turnout,” Glasso said. “We also plan on having this again in the future.”
