The Grand Healthcare System expands into Rochester, New York with purchase of Brighton Manor

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (Monday, August 9, 2021) — The Grand Healthcare System (The Grand) is pleased to announce its takeover of  Brighton Manor in Rochester, one of Monroe County’s landmark skilled nursing facilities.

Following the transaction, Valley Stream-based The Grand, which provides rehabilitation and skilled nursing services to residents who require short- or long-term rehab and nursing care has renamed the 80-bed facility Rochester Community Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

The Grand, which has a track record of improving underperforming nursing homes through strong leadership, training and capital improvements, renovations and equipment upgrades, is already addressing some of the nursing home’s most pressing needs.
